Corrections and New Features:

  • SCU:
    0512:
No more Bit-Bus message about automatic input switch-over for DAB, as this is pointless and rather disturbing with seamless switching (similar to SNMP TCMIB).
    0412:
    As of 4611.
    4611:
    As of 4311.
    4311:
    As of 4211.
    4211:
    As of 3911.
    3911:
Switch-over delay for LAN fault reduced to 12 s. Delay against unintended switch-over in case of IP input signal disturbance.
    2711:
Evaluation of reference fault is now independent of the type of reference locking, thus preventing erroneous switch-over.
    1711:
    As of 1211.
    1211:
Web pages for Low Power Transmitters reworked (invalid dispensable information removed). Unintended and missing switch-over during run-in phase of DVB “MAX” modulator corrected.
    1011:
Regression corrected: The links to the exciters on the Overview page as well as to the system switch were no longer opened in a new window/tab. Unintended occasional double fault acknowledgement to the exciters fixed. Warning for power loss compensation is now correctly assigned to power amplifiers.
    0911:
Private MIB SNMP traps from the exciters are now correctly routed to the outside. The informations of the “Switch-Over Unit” web page are now available also by SNMP.
  • Exciter:
    0512:
Corrected positioning of muting display fields for DVB and DVB “MAX” modulators.
    0412:
Upgrade of DVB “MT2″ modulator now available via the web interface. Source of modulator muting now also displayed for DVB and DVB “MAX” modulators. DAB: Missing MNSC was notified only if all parameter sources (delay and TII) were set to MNSC.
    4611:
DVB2 modulator: Monitoring of bus connection. DVB “MT2″ modulator: Corrected ASI/IP input selection, Cell ID insertion now switchable. DVB “PTV” modulator: Static delay settable also with parameter source MIP. DVB “MT2″ and DVB “PTV” modulators: ASI test output now selectable, ASI1/2 instead of active ASI. DVB2 and DVB “MT2″ modulators: Display of network ID and system ID on actual operating parameters. All modules: Type and serial numbers are now displayed on the status web pages.
    4311:
DVB “PTV” modulator: Supervision of external reference signals now working correctly; loading of configuration from USB/file rightly restores the precorrector data; external 1PPS input set to 50 Ohm.

    4211:
DVB “MT2″ modulator: Corrected linear precorrection, input automatic with selectable switch-back, muting on error in SFN with selectable holdover time.
    3911:
IP input module: Monitoring of bus connection as well as check of multicast group addresses with refresh in case of fault. DVB “MHX” modulator: Muting on error now selectable, muting source now displayed, no muting on unlocked PLL due to run-in time, software version now displayed on update web page. DVB modulator (MOD 2000): Muting on error now selectable, fix for incorrectly applied stored non-linear precorrection after booting. All modules: No more irritating warnings and event entries in case of software/hardware problem. Exciter restart button on sysconfig webpage plus related event log entry. Software and hardware versions of the modules are now displayed on the status web pages. DVB “MT2″, DVB “PTV” and ISDB modulators implemented.
    2711:
Warning note on main setup web pages now in warning colour (customer request).
    1711:
Multiple PLP support with DVB-T2 modulator introduced, available since modulator firmware S130. IP input module: Input switch-over and monitoring corrected, MAC addresses of input interfaces are now displayed.
    1211:
Precorrection for DVB-T2 modulator corrected. Hard reset of IP input module added in web interface. One more selectable message assignment for remote relay interface in Low Power TX: “Input Signal Present – Power Alarm – Power Warning”.
    1011:
10MHz PLL warning of DVB-T2 modulator suppressed if locking set to internal. Useless and confusing display of Transport Stream 2 hidden from DVB modulator status page in connection with IP input module in IP input reserve. Power compensation pushed down already at -0.1dB instead of 0dB output power to handle tolerances; related warning suppressed while power switched off.
    0911:
Warning if modulator is switched to testmode (dangerous in SFN). Warning if neither ETI1 nor ETI2 are present (customer request). Missing TIST and TIST fault are now only warning instead of alarm (modulator can continue running in SFN).
