The history of PLISCH Telecommunications Engineering is closely related to the development of television in the last century. Ever since our beginnings in 1955, we have promoted the world-wide success story of transmitting electronic information media by embracing and putting into practice important technological advancements.
Starting with radio interference measuring equipment and television measuring receivers, PLISCH soon came to specialise in the development of television transmission systems and associated measuring equipment.
At PLISCH the year 2008 was characterised by the change and introduction of its next generation of digital TV transmitters. The era of the previous product line TRISTAN had drawn to a close after more than 15 successful years. The new high-power version of the more efficient and cost-effective successor TDV (Transmitter, Digital, Video) was quickly approved and the first transmitter of this new generation began being shipped customers during August 2008.
